Everyone needs a frog hat! Or so my sister says. I made this for her as a Christmas gift. I saw one online and used my best copying skills to make my own!

Earrings

One night I got super bored so I decided to knock out some earrings. Here they are!

Yikes! It's been a while.

Oooops, I've been a slacker at keeping up on all of our crafts. We've been busy turning out lots of great things, too. The next few posts are going to be my version of playing catch-up. Not everything will be posted in the order they were made.

Our biggest news right now is that we will be adding to your family in October! Atticus John is on the way! Right now, we've been working mainly one projects for him. We want this kid to be well equipped.

Ripple Afghan

Here is my very first Ripple Afghan! It took me roughly 3 months to complete, but I stuck it out and completed the task! I may add-on to it later if I get bored or decide that it needs to be bigger.

I crocheted it with Simply Soft Acrylic yarn in "off white" and "autumn" using an I hook!

Cock-a-doodle-dooooooo!

I made this hat for my friend's brother. He was born in the year of the rooster and needed to be reminded as such!

The base of the hat is knitted on a Nifty-Knitter and the "comb" is crocheted.

I apologize for the bad photo, I'll ask her to take a better on of him wearing it!

Kitchen Curtains

So, in my attempt to get our kitchen looking a little better before putting it up on the market... I made some valences! AGAIN! This time around, I think I picked a fabric that fits our mustard colored trim. They are very simple, but I think they help bring the area together.

My very first blog!!

Not too much to add today. This is mostly a "test blog" just to make sure everything works. I'll start uploading photos and projects shortly.


Today, my big project was the reorganize my yarn stash. That way Mark doesn't have a cow when he sees is. While working on that little project, I came across some Granny Squares I started crocheting when we got married. I took it as a project on our road trip from Tennessee to Connecticut and back. I guess i just lost interest and forgot about it. Now, I need to figure out what i can do with 20 5" granny squares!!! I think Frida may be getting a new blanket for her bed!
